Gnome and Decoration Removal

Chris, I read about it in the latest Quail Unltd magazine, it is a "Hy-Reach Clipper" from http://www.precisionmfg.com/ , the Quail chapter that owns one runs it on a 45 hp John Deere and claims it reaches 10' high, has a rotating head which cuts 8 - 10" diameter wood. The beauty of it all is you can take out all the underbrush w/o getting off the machine and avoid all the prickers and poison ivy, then go in later with a chain saw for the bigger stuff. Still wishing I had one

I had seen these on their website when searching for a grapple. Just forgot where I saw it. I want something to cut bigger trees.

Try Tree Removal - Tree Saws - Marshall Tree Saw , designed for a skid steer but your tractor may handle it, cuts up to 36" diameter by making multiple cuts on different sides of the tree. Also works on gnomes.

Well, today 2/18/08 the driveway beauties were removed. So we won't have to wait till memorial day. Perhaps, I'll post a pic of their 2ft high grass then.

Well folks summer is officially here and it's time to revisit this thread. This is for those who have never had to look at the neighbour's Christmas ornaments on a hot summer day.

Unfortunately our over the top neighbour didn't even put up a light last year so I have nothing to share.
