Kubota L4310
I need three arms to switch loader implements so I thought I'd get a quick attach to put on a Kubota L4310 / LA 682 loader.

But the local quote for (material only) ATI quick attach & 1 weld-on plate is $900. I've read here that some others are NOT pleased with the Kubota-made quick attach.

Is the ATI worthy?

I have ATI. I think it works great. Just keep the moving parts fairly clean and greased and you'll never have a problem. I must have gotten a good deal but I have the same loader I bought the ATI QA mounted on a woods heavy duty bucket and a set of QA forks with screen for $700 and my original Kubota bucket.

I'm sure the ATI is fine. Horst Welding also makes a similar adapter which I believe is a bit less money. I have one and have been very happy with it.

So with this adaptor, you then re-attach the bucket to the adaptor?

Thanks for the pics.

I'd like to have an adaptor for pallet forks. I think Bradco makes forks.

When Kubota built the 682 they didn't offer a quick attach and we used the ATI system even before that. For that money I hope that the plate is welded on the back of the bucket for you.

I'm a bit confused by your question. The Horst adapter works exactly the same way as the ATI. Two levers that secure the adapter to the QA attachment points on the implement. You can take your original bucket and have a QA adapter plate ($150 for the plate) welded to it (be careful of the angle to insure your dump and roll angles are preserved).

QA forks are available from a number of sources. One thing to remember is that most forks are build for skid steers or loaders that are far more powerful than tractor FELs. You can get lighter duty versions from a few companies. I know Millonzi now makes a lighter duty pallet fork that will save you a couple hundred bucks over their standard duty versions. I originally bought their standard duty forks (before they made the lighter duty ones) and they were just to heavy for my use so I sold them (at no loss) locally to a guy with a skid steer.
