Goin\' Loader Shopping

So, after a couple of years of waiting, I'm ready to get a FEL for my B2400./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Before I go talking to dealers, I have a few questions.

Is this something the dealer should install, or is it a bolt on?

The loader for the B2400 is the LA351, which I don't think they make anymore and was replaced by the LA352. The LA352 is for the B2400's replacement, the B2410. I've read here there should be no problem fitting an LA352 on a B2400. Has anyone actually done this?

What other makes/models would be worth looking at?

The ballpark prices I have heard is $3200-$3400. Does this sound about right?

I cannot remember price--I try to forget such things----the LA352 should work fine with the B2400 I should think. I believe there is a subframe that attaches to the tractor permenately. This subframe is also set up to accept the MMM, at least that is what it looks like own mine. I cannot imagine getting a loader other than the LA352 for your B2400. If cost is a big factor I think the LA302 (B7500) can be fitted also. Good luck. J

I purchase a B2400 with 300 hours on it a few weeks ago. The dealer installed a new L352 loader and it works great. I would suggest letting the dealer handle the installation. The price for the loader installed was $2,600. He said it was below his cost. This was due to the fact that the loader was sent to him by mistake and had been in his inventory for over a year. My luck was running good that day. You will wonder why you didn't have the loader before now. It will do so much that you haven't even thought of yet.

Try and find a bushhog loader they are lower priced than kubota loaders and have more lift capacity and come in matching paint and look great.
