The local dealer called me back this morning with his price for the following:
L3010 HST, FEL, 6' bush hog (don't know brand yet), 5' box blade (don't know brand), R4s, and a sun shade. $19, 800 net of rebate. Plus tax which is 2.5% if I am into some kind of agriculture adventure on my property, otherwise 6%. I see my hay farm starting almost immediately (does it have to be a legal crop, I wondered).
So do I have to beat him up much when I meet him on Mponday or should I just say $20K out the door? Throw in 50 hour maint? Let me know what you think.
Also... I planned on buying it outright and financing more on my house that I will be building so the interest would be deductable. I thought I read somewhere on here that Kubota offers cheap insurance if you finance it through them. If that is true should I finance some nominal amount over 6 years to qualify for the insurance? Seems like it may be a good idea. Thoughts?
