Well,
As I was pondering whether or not to drop down from 40D to 33D, I talked turkey to dealer number 2. Which is about 15 miles farther away. As My wife and I were asking about the 33D which would have to be ordered, the man made us an offer on the 45D/16LA he had on the lot. Well, the difference from 33D/7308 to the 45D/16LA on this particular lot today was only $2500. I don't see any reason to debate anymore. Not sure if the 765H is the right choice for the 45D though. Dealer thinks so though.

Here's the deal (so far):
TC45D/16LA, 72"HD Bucket $20,000
Bush Hog 765H BH/Subframe,Pump $5500
6ft.Bush Hog HD Rear Blade $650
Total $26150

Opinions Please?
Dan

I agree that that is a small amount of money to pay for the much greater work capability of the big boomer. If you have use for the larger tractor then go for it. For me though the choice was the medium size boomer because it had to fit in my garage and I wanted something that wasn't too big to put on a trailer and tow to odd jobs. As far as the backhoe, although I haven't seen the bush hog or read its specs, I would go with the NH 758C because I think it fits tighter to the back of the tractor and is a New Holland so that there won't be any warranty issues if something breaks. Just my opinion. Can the 3pt arms stay on with the Bush Hog like they can with the NH? How do the specs compare out?
