I thought I was going to buy a TC40D with loader/bh. But after careful thought, I think the smaller frame would suit my needs down the road better. Now it seems I'm going for 33D with loader/BH.
Comments from anyone who made the decision to go smaller would be good to hear. ie: happy or sad?
Thanks,
Dan

dan, i have a tc33d w/ss .alsowith loader and backhoe. it's a pretty good machine. loader is a little weak. the hoe works fine for it's size. you need to think about what you intend to do with it. also if your gonna haul it ,what your gonna use. the super steer has its good and bad points. if you mow, it's good. but when you have the bucket full and steer tight i've lost the bead on the tire, even at a slow speed.....tgello

I have a TC40D at home and a TC33D at work and they are both great machines. As stated before the class II loader has a lot lighter load rating but if you are going to be doing lighter duty lifting, that is not a problem. We have still loaded the 33's bucket full of dirt/ rocks with no problem.

I have had a Tc33D with loader and 757 backhoe since last Summer, 55 hours on it so far. I am very happy with the size choice and capability. So far it is big enough to do everything I want to do and yet small enough where I can transport it on my 18' 8k trailer and small enough to fit in my garage. good luck with your decision.

Thanks,

It may take a while to sort out but I'd rather be doing this now, before any money is spent.

Gimme time?,

Here is a picture of my tlb. I went with the New Holland backhoe to avoid any possible compatibility or warranty issues. I think it fits better than some of the 3rd party backhoes I have seen.
