I went smaller. From a Grand L to a B7800. Much better fit for my peoperty.

I sold the Grand L in the newspaper.

Resale value is great for Kubota.

Keep your attachments-you will regret selling them!

I would list the tractor here for sale. you may find a buyer if you are serious about trading down. I would rethink the trade, for $6K you could have a great lawn tractor and save the real tractor for the real work.

I have both a lawnmower and a tractor, and a M series is serious overkill for 5 acres...

Never really checked the attachment capability of the "L" but some of those attachments must fit the B series??? You should not have to trade them all in?

I have an L3130 and realized it was a little large for mowing the yard around my house. But I needed its size for other projects. So I bought a used BX1800 w/230 hrs and a 54" MMM as a previous poster also suggested. I paid $4600 for the BX which is less than $6k and my problem was solved. The BX is a great little tractor that mows very well.

Good luck

The tractor is a L3130,R4 tires,Hydro. 158 hrs. Dealer remarked he could put on his lot without doing anything to it. The finish mower is 72 inch King Kutter in nice shape used about seven years on 4 acres. The snowblower is a 72 inch 3pt. Haban. About six years old and only used when I get to much snow for my 42 inch john deere blower. Thanks for helping me with this, setting a price is a problem for me. I am thinking this move out for the rest of this month to make sure it's right for me. Also the idea of finding a used bx would maybe work for me. I have a John Deere 335 garden tractor that I'm thinking of selling. I'm just not comfortable with this machine, it's just me nothing wrong with the tractor. it could traded in on a used bx. another thing to think over. thanks again for your input.

Hi James,

Since you have not filled out your profile, I was wondering where you live. It's possible that some TBN members might be interested in some kind of trade with you if you live close enough. Completing your profile would be helpful.
