Going to get my i1046 toay.

Hi guys, I just found this board. I am going to get a i1046 today...I drove it around the parking lot the other day and it does really do the ztr thing... I have been all over the map trying to figure out what to get but I always come back to this one.
I'll try to do a full report by this coming weekend.

Well, I purchased my i1046 from Greensboro Tractor in Greensboro NC. I could not be happier with these folks. Danny Hardin was the salesman and I would recommend them highly. I got it home and only got to make about 5 passes before I had to go back to work.. Cut looked excellent but it had not grown since the last mow. The gas pedal seemed a little stiff. The ZT feature is totally awesome. I have a small back yard but could still strip the heck out of it. Very stable on hillsides. I'll know more by the weekend. So far so good.

The thing I like about the i-series is the width. Makes it easy to get on and off, and is extremely stable on hills versus the current crop of mowers out there.

Good deal! I think there's only been a cpl posts of i1046 owners on the boards so it's nice to have the resources. I've not seen any complaints. Should be an awesome machine for you.

Well, I mowed today with it.. it worked good.. Only thing.. the gas pedal.. it is awkward as heck... I am tall and I had to push my right leg out as far as it would go to make it go the fastest speed... which isn't fast at all. When I finished mowing,(45 min.) my leg was tired from pushing down the gas pedal.

Its like it needs about a 2 inch thick block bolted to the gas pedal. 1/4 throttle ain't to bad the the harder you push down on it the worse it is.. Wonder if you can put a lighter spring on it...

The ztr part works just like a regular ztr mower. Mowing sideways on hills is great... and tight spots is wonderful

If I can get this gas pedal thing worked out, it will be perfect...

Anybody else find this unusual.
