remark on 150 as being pretty excessive

If that's excessive, I'm really in trouble./w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

But congratulations on the Gold status anyway./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Hey ... there ain't nothin' better than that spousal support (sure a lot better than spousal abuse /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif). When it get's to the point that they talk you into a bigger tractor or a better quality attachment (as mine does) ... well ... it just don't get no better than that!

What's worse than Gold and no tractor, Bill ... is having reached platinum ... and realizing your 2 year old tractor finally made it to 65 hours .... you feel like you're failing the brotherhood of TBN .... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

... just keep repeating ... "normal is boring" .... "normal is boring" ... and besides ... who wants to be "average"?

Bill,

I think we should start a whole new category of TBN'er. I'm in the same situation that you are - made Gold but no tractor /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif! And you reflected my feelings about participating PERFECTLY! Anyway, congratulations Bill. We'll be with you all the way on your journey /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif!

YouAre - My wife has kind of had the same reaction about my participation with TBN. When she talks about it, it's kind of with tongue in cheek. Until you guys provided answers that she was looking for /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif!! Now she doesn't seem to mind it so much. She even asked me to check out something with All your tractor buddies. I think I have a convert on my hands /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.

Ain't that the truth!!! My wife is great about the $$$$ I spend on toys --- er tools. She fully supports the notion that the only thing worse than not having the tool for the job - is having a poor tool for the job. Consequently, when I buy tools - I spend whatever I need to get the tool that will do the job with power to spare. I certainly can't afford nor need the professional sizes that are used everyday on the job - but I also don't get the cheapest one I can find either. But whatever level I decide to spend on - the wife supports 100%.
I got a keeper! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Maybe a new forum entitled "Wives of TBNers" Sortof a spousal support group. What might some of those posts sound like...............................

Strange you should use the term Tractor Buddies[b/]. My wife used the exact same term and probably tone when she talks about TBN.

Can't think of a better bunch of guys to be associated with. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
