It brings me great sadness to tell you that yesterday morning my wife of 36 years lost her battle with cancer. I know that she is in a far better place than you or I. I'm always at a loss for the right words at a moment like this. Nothing any of us can say will lessen your pain right now. Cherish her memory, and try to think about what she'd want for you. My prayers go out to you and your family.

If we can draw anything positiive from something like this, it's for the rest of us to realize just how important that other person in your life is to us. I think I'll get off here and go hug my wife. Maybe we should all do that. All the smiles that brings will be a way of honoring the memory of Glenda.

Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of Glenda. My family has been praying for her for quite some time. Unfortunately for us who are left behind, the answer to prayer was not the one we were looking for. Only Glenda truly knows the Glory of the Heavenly Kingdom as she has been "promoted" to eternal bliss.

We will all continue to suffer here on Earth until WE are "promoted" to the eternal bliss.

Until that day I will share in you pain and give my family a little extra hug today, because tomorrow is guaranteed to no one.
