i'm gonna go next week and see what kinda deal they gonna do for a xuv. i see they have the notes of 110.00 a month so i might go for one or atleast give them another look the problem was the guy didn't wanna work with me on the price any so i'll see.i need to upgrade to a newer model and thats a forsure thing i already know the hpx has proven it'sef in the reliablity and weight hauling so i can really walk inther and say i wanna new hpx and not even give it a look over or test drive but the xuv is diferent i'm not really worried about mud (hpx goes through everything i want it too) i'm not worried about smooth ride(i don't travel fast )although a smother ride would probably be better it's not really a must my biggest concern is the hauling of the weight. and another question is if my dealer doesn't wanna work with me would the dealer that you know "Skip" give me a good enough deal for me to drive from hear to there for the deal? i'm lookin for a after the holidays deal.i wanna put it out at the road maybe if i can keep it clean long enough to do that and try and sell it that way.

$8700 for gas and $10,300 for diesel with deluxe cab and windshield. Add $500 for hydraulic lift.

i wanna try and go with a regular tube cab with the new one i think it would be lighter wouldn't it? the deluxe cab is ok but it's heavy. i'm gonna get back and see what i can do in a week.i'm still stripping mine down right now.but 8700.00 sounds really good.i still have to order and install the two front fenders and headlights for mine before i trade it in. but 8700.00 is worth a drive i have a buddy who can share the drivin with me and i got a trailer if i decide to go that route.

Hi Tommy.
Hope you get your XUV.
I'm over in Donegal, Ireland and the local JD dealer has loaned me an HPX for the last 2 weeks. I'm a farmer, my land is very steep and wet.
Unlike you guys in the land of the free, it rarely stops raining here.
I was totally amazed as to where the HPX would go,
the grip is incredible on any gradient with the standard AT489 tyres.
The one thing that let it down was ground clearance, especially at the rear.
Other than that a fine machine. Kubota RTV 1100 is out for me because of the weight, and it's not available here either.
The XUV 850D is not officially available as of yet in Europe, but it's arrival is imminent as JD just got CE approval for it.
My JD dealer is trying really hard to source one pre launch but is finding it difficult to get a straight answer.
I call there every few days for an update, and also to keep things moving.
The HPX has gone back and I really miss it. I'm back on my ATV, Honda 650 Rincon, but have to put on the waterproof gear each time which is a pain, also I can't take my little 7yr old son with me, which I did in the Gator.
I've actually toyed with the idea of buying a fully loaded XUV in the States and getting it shipped over here. The €uro dollar rate is good for me, but I don't know JD dealers in the States who would be prepared to do this.
Anyway, I have to wait another 10 days to see if JD over here can/will get it for me or not.
If not, I'll be talking to you guys again to see if you can put me in touch with a reputable JD dealer in the US and I may import it over.
Even despite the weight of the RTV 1100,
the hydraulic output on it is tempting and I sure could put that feature to good use.
Good luck with your purchase in any event.

i wouldn't mind givin one of them 1100's a try but for me to do that i would have to sell my hpx out right and i can't keep it clean long enough i use it everyday and that means i would have to wash it everyday and that would be back braking.i'll see what the john deer guy tells me and i might try putting it out by the road during the day because i don't use it til 4:00 in the afternoon .but what ever i would get it would be a payment thing because i ain't rich this thing is going to help support me thats why i need to upgrade to something new with a "warranty".polaris has a good long warranty i'm talking about the extended warranty.i wish john deere had an extended warranty that long. anyway i'm gonna make a move soon on a utv and it's gonna be soon like in a month or two at the most if everything goes right the deeal on the one from deere last til feb, but i ain't gonna wait that long.

Tommy, with the RTV, you could haul twice the weight so you could work half the time or work the same amount of time and make twice as much, see how that would work? ;) Then the extra for the AC and heated cab on the 1100 would be a smart investment.
