Milkman is right about the extra weight, and making more money for your time involved, and the part about the extra for the A/C-Heat & cab, is $5000.00 difference. That's when a man starts to spend money for luxury ...

The 900 will haul the same as a 1100, another difference is, the 900 has more mosquitoes than the 1100 series unit .....

;) ;) ;)

Tommy,
Another thing you may look into, Kubota credit is one of the best. Always having special promotions and rebates . The rebates can go toward your down payments. Right now, depending on how long you may want to streach out your notes, they go from 0.00% ~~~~ 5.99% >>> The payment method can be up to you, and the price per month will be simple. Something to think about >>>>>>

check your P.M >>>>>>

Rtv payload is not twice the capacity of the xuv or hpx. (check your info)

The rtv is 5 mph slower than the hpx and xuv.

Rtv is not true 4 wheel drive. It is 3 and the hpx and xuv are both true 4 wheel drive.

This is not an apples to apples comparison.

I do like the hydro trans of the rtv.
RTV weight is what is really bad. It weighs as much as my Samurai and cost 10 times as much..
When Kubota offers true 4 wheel drive I will own one~!

that is a down side to the rtv is it's as heavy as a tank. and i missed the part about him saying i could haul twice as much.i can do 1k right now if i needed to and sometimes i do i know the hpx will do atleast 1200lbs but i wouldn't go any more than that and i wouldn't go fast .loli'm gonna load it down this weekend and weight it all and see. hauled a load of bricks a few months ago and we weighed on brick and then counted the bricks up and we came up with a total of 900lbs +a few lbs. and she looked like she could take alot more so i'm gonna see .

Steel vs. Plastic

Yes, one is lighter
Yes, one is tuffer
Yes, Both are great
Both will serve the purpose in some situations.
But only one will take a beaten !!!!!!!!

The weight of my RTV, rigged out the way I've got it, is exactly 2120 lbs.
Weight it today !!! IT HAS POWER, POWER, POWER ~~~ I havn't found any situation yet that it wouldn't handle, and trust me, it's been threw some pretty ugly places, bad Mississippi hills included, and still have some left to give. I believe weight is more of some peoples excuses >>>>>>>>
99% of getting threw bad situations is the driver !!!!!
I am not saying this to start a fuss, but to state a FACT !!!!!
And another note, people find all kind of excuses, for they think the RTV cost to much, but that's fine.
Sorry Skip, but looks like you'll never have the pleasure of owning a RTV, for don't think they are going to change to your so called, four wheel drive thing, they think the so called three wheel thing does just fine. And I agree with Kubota, it's works just perfect, so why change because someone thinks different ........
And them Samurai little trucks, they are nice !!! Do they still make them ?

Tommy, I don't know. What I do know is this whole "RTV IS THE ONLY WAY!!!" is getting a might bit old...

Oh and Two Guns come to me with one good thing about having a heavy UTV and I'll give you a cookie. Fact: There isn't any. Lighter is better in every respect.

Tommy, I just noticed your comment about the heat. Have you looked into maybe getting a curtis heater for the HPX/XUV? I should imagine you could fab up some doors and whatnot then install that heater and that would help you neck. I think the curtis heater is only 500 bucks. But I'm not sure.

i was thinkin the same thing when i was lookin at the rtv web sight. a heater might be the only thing i would like to have on the xuv or hpx. right now i have a coleman propane heater that sits in a cup holder mount in the center console.
