Have you considered a good used cutter ? You can find 5 ft VERY heavy duty ones for around 500.00 or less that just need some paint and will still outlast 3 of the lighter duty ones.
5-6 ft used ones are fairly common as the owner upgrades in size and sells the smaller one.

What about "Modern" cutters? They have a 1 year warranty. The price was $725. I think the Freight cost on Oregon is killing me. They all are higher here than in the south and midwest.
