So I have spent the last couple of days at multiple dealerships. 2 differing Kubota dealers, a brief visit to Mahindra and a visit to the LS dealership.

The LS dealership is about 16 miles from my home and the sales people are really nice. Yesterday he sent someone out to my home to have a look at my property and see what it is I plan to do in the future inn order to assist me with my purchase!
He is suggesting a subcompact and possibly moving up to a larger tractor at a later date once I am sure I am going to accomplish the tasks I have planned. He stated a subcompact would be able to handle road grading and I could also use it on my lawn as well since I will have about 1.5 acres to cut. I am still skeptical that a subcompact could move gravel around a 400 foot driveway but then again I don't know very much.

One Kubota dealer is about 40 miles away and suggested the L2501 straight away. The other dealer suggested a B series or the purchase of a used LS with low hours (about 250) that was slightly larger. They all felt comfy but for some reason I just can't imagine a BX having enough weight for my property and future plans.

The quest continues, but it is indeed fun.
