Well, it was going to happen eventually, and the time came today. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

What with our "downsizing" in preparation for my upcoming retirement, we've been getting rid of many items that we don't want any longer, or don't have room for in our storage locker or motorhome.

Unfortunately, we couldn't figure out a way to make room for FunBuggy. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Sure, I could store FB in a storage barn of some kind while we're gone. But how would you like to be stuck someplace not knowing when the next time would be when you get to go gliding (well, bumping may be more like it /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif) down the shimmering green fairways, or left sitting next to the practice green at about the same time the sprinklers get turned on. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

So a fellow I've been talking with about adopting FB came and took him away at lunch today.

I know FunBuggy's going to a good home, as the new owner is an avid golfer too. In fact, FunBuggy should have even more fun, as the new owner lives right next to a golf course and will be able to exercise FunBuggy even more than I did. I can just see FB romping .... er ...... bounding ......... uh ........ lurching around with all of the other carts. Warms a persons heart, don't you think?

Garry, the guy you sold Fun Buggy to called me up. He needed the phone number of the TV Show "Pimp My Ride" starring rapper Xhibit. Seems that he thinks Fun Buggy is just a bit too vanilla to ply the fairways anymore and needs a flame job with a metal flake base coat, some big chrome rims wrapped with low profile "skins" the addition of one of a DVD player and a mini-bar . . . he just was not sure if the seats should be gold lame` or leapord skin /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I am just a bit worried about the kind of music they'll play, though. FunBuggy has become very comfortable with The Rat Pack, Tony Bennett, Glenn Miller, and all that Big Band kind of stuff.

Personally, I think FB would prefer mink over gold lame or leopard skin. I know I would. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Just think what they could do to FunBuggy on Pimp My Ride. They could slam it, put some 22 inch gold spinners on, chameleon paint with ghost flames, some hydraulics to really make it bounce, some plush upholstery, a giant subwoofer, tinted glass, a chandalier, flat screen TV, MP3 player, and fish tank. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
