Does your 304 rev past 2K? Wow, I have had mine for almost 3 Years and I love it, I also have 5 acres in California and ripped off the exhaust in the first hour, anyhow, mine will only get to 1800 RPM, I have asked and asked here on the forum, but it has plenty of power, even with a 6 foot brush hog, that girl is good at everything I point her to.
Hope you enjoy your girl as much as I do mine.
Also, who did your exhaust? I would love to do that but my loader frame is in the way

Yes, mine will rev past that, about 2,200 or so I think. I am at work now (oil rig) or I would double check. I won't get home for another two weeks, so she is back home patiently waiting for me 
The guys here in my hometown muffler shop rerouted my exhaust, it cost me about $85 I think, with the new muffler. But I think it was well worth it, I know the way it was it was only a matter of time before I broke it again (to many huge vines).
