That is really cool, you are going to love that shuttle shift compared to that 790!

I did not want to go back to work after the quick delivery process and driving the tractor into the garage. At least work is busy and the day is going by pretty fast. I will be posting more pictures later - stay tuned!

Quick question - isn't there supposed to be a step-up into the operator platform???

Nice looking macine:D There is not a step on my tractor. I can see how one could me mounted easily though. I would be afraid to rip it off.

Well - I have success!! Put the bale spear on last night and was able to pick up a bale and move it even through the 3-5 inches of mud....yuck! Rear end was a bit light though even with the fluid filled tires I should've put my ballast box on first. Very happy though! I do love the shuttle shift compared to my 790 - much easier to use!! Going to take some time getting used to though - I found myself a couple of times reaching for the center gearshift lever before realizing it wasn't there anymore. And the fel lever is mounted up higher instead of right beside my seat like on the 790. I reached for the lever by memory and it wasn't there either!

If the weather co-operates this weekend (supposed to rain a lot) I will post up a few more pictures or maybe start a new thread with all the pics and a quick review after a bit more seat time.

Mission Accomplished! The whole point to me selling my previous tractor and getting this one is to be able to move round bales better. I'll let the pictures below speak for themselves. Couldn't be more happier with this machine. Can't wait to get some more time operating it - just been too muddy recently to do much.

Nice tractor. I see one advertized somewhat near me for THOUSANDS less than the MF1529 tlb that I am looking at and can't afford. I could afford the 320 but am awful leary of the Montana situation. Who makes the tractor and motor? The Massy dealer is awsome and 10 miles away, the Montana dealer is 175 miles away and I know nothing about them. No other Montana dealers closer. Any advice?

I can't answer all of your questions. I have not heard of much with the Montana brand though. I bought mine which is a 'Limited' edition (hence the blue color) which is a re-badged Farmtrac brand. Montana bought out the remaining Farmtrac models. I can tell you that it is a Mitsubishi diesel engine. Other than that - it's definitely nice to have dealer support close-by if needing parts/service/etc. Other than that - that's all I know. Good luck in your decision.
