Good deal or not???

Wife is buying me a new (my first) tractor for my birthday next week. This comes as a complete shock to me as she has been researching tractors since I left to come to work last week.(I work offshore) She decided on buying me a Kubota L2800 four wheel drive with the Woods front end loader and a 5 foot bush hog. She got the whole set up for $13,700. Does this seem like a resonable deal to y'all? Thanks for your time and I have been reading this board constantly since I found out about my new tractor. A wealth of information for someone who is just starting out. Thanks again!!!!

Welcome to the board.

I don't own the tractor you have so I can not help you there and since it sounds like it has already been done, I wouldn't worry to much about it and just enjoy. Hopefully the dealer she chose is a good one as I am finding out more and more how important that is. I can't say enough good things about the decision I made.

I friend of mine just bought a brand X from another dealer and they will not give him the time of day. Soooo glad I didn't go there.

Sounds like she got a "good" deal if it is a gear model and a "heck of a deal" if it is HST. Your profile does not specify which trans you got.

With the HP of the L2800 you should be able to do a great job with the 5' bush hog.

Sounds like a pretty good deal... never really priced that model. You're gonna love it! I've got a B series and I still can't believe everything it'll do.

Good deal or not? You must be joking. Never look a gift wife in the mouth. Big smile is what you should have.
Use it and enjoy and keep your missus happy, she is special.
Just how will you make it up to her? your gonna have to think real hard.
