What a day! Temps hit the low 70's and the sun was just a-shineing away. A slight cool breeze hid the fact from me that I actually got alittle sunburn going on too /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
With all this going on along with the grass starting to get out of hand left me with no choice but to dismount the FEL & BH, mount the 60" MMM and go out and slay me some fesue /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The BX23 is one fine finish mower. The effortless power steering, responsive HST, quiet 22HP diesel powerplant and very smooth & ultra quiet 60" MMM combined to give me one very enjoyable dayoff, albeit too short though. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
You see that SubCut knocked about 1/2 hr off my best mowing time of last year!
And not only was it more comfortable and powerful, but according to the fuel gauge it only consumed approx 1/8th of a tank of fuel which if'n my cipher'n is correct, is about .68 gals of $2 per gal diesel fuel! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif My 23hp Kohler Command gas powered 48" cut lawn tractor used over 2 gals of gas and wasn't anywhere near as pleasureable either!
The BX23 w/60" MMM did a pretty good job as did my mulch plug. Course the lawn/field/pasture ain't nowhere near as thick as it will get in a month or so, but I'm still very impressed w/the BX23's finish cut.
A pic of the back field. The mud and fill dirt stands out but will be filled in w/green soon enough.
