Wife and I watched Edison night before last. I'd never heard of it. She had started watching it then paused it a few minutes in. So I googled it. Kevin Spacey, Morgan Freeman, Justin Timberlake, Dylan McDermott, John Heard. It didn't have great reviews. Turns out I thought it was a pretty good movie.

Two old musicals (both Blu-Ray) delivered yesterday..."Singing in the Rain" and "West Side Story".
I'd catch "Singing..." on TCM now and then (when we had cable TV)...haven't seen "West Side Story"...well, decades (first time I saw it was 1960 or thereabouts). Probably watch "West Side Story" this weekend

I think The Game is a profoundly good movie. One of those personal faves that was horribly misunderstood by audiences and a lot of critics, then shrugged off. You have to let it take you where it's going and... and just let go. I also have real affection for this type of "Who am I?"

I just watched The Pirate (1948) for the first time, and I thought it was fun. Gene Kelly pretends to be a notorious pirate in an effort to attract Judy Garland.
It cracked me up when Gene Kelly was doing a bunch of ballet spins in his rendition of a ferocious dangerous pirate.
