Price Check Good price for a M4900?

No it's not a cab unit.

I wouldn't want a cab and it does have the tires I wanted.

I asked a dealer for the price of a new one and he quoted me the m5040 at 26500with loader. so for basically the same tractor(4years older) I might save 4500.

Is there a big difference in the transmissions between those two tractors?

I've noticed that people like the low fuel consumption of the L40 tractors would the M4900 be the same?

I have found several cab units for $21-$22K with low hours in very good condition, so I would have to say you should be paying 2-3 thousand less, so around 18-19K is more like it for what you're describing.

If all you'll save is $4,500 compared to a new 5040, then the writing is on the wall- get the new 5040 with all the new features and Kubota warranty.

Thanks for showing me the way.

I think I am going to go with a new M4800SUD instead and get it the way I want it plus the warranty.

The price on the 4800 was alot friendlier.
