I went to a local New/USed Equipment dealer yesterday to look about a breaking plow. He doesn't have a plow like I want, but he does have a King Kutter II 5' tiller for $1400 and a King Kutter 6' Landscape Rake for $300. These seemed like fairly good prices. Am I right?
He had an old Ford 12-2 Moldboard Plow for $400, but I got scared of it when I saw it doesn't have shear pins and isn't spring tripped. Is this not a cause for concern? He can order either a 12-2 that would be about $500 or a 14-1 plow that would be $400. Both of these have shear pins.
