Good Times in Kuwait!!!

This is my son(to the left and his friend to the right), having a great time w/ Robin Williams in Kuwait!! They say he is the nicest and funniest man youll ever meet! At least there are some advantages of going over seas!

I am so old that I can remember when Robin was your sons age... good to see that that they all have a smile on their faces.... It has to be a tough time of the year for the service men and women over seas......

I didn't know it was possible to have fun in Kuwait. I did not have any fun when I was there (non-military, don't want to give the wrong impression). Saudi was worse though.
The women looked a lot like kids at halloween. Boo! Lots of ghosts in that area. Tell your son to pick up some nice 18k gold jewelry over there. Big time cheap compared to the states (at least it was in Saudi). I bought my wife an 18k necklace that was really thick and heavy and when I got back to the states I was told by a Jeweler that he couldn't buy it as cheap as I did. They have laws that make them sell it by weight (again, at least in Saudi).

Make sure you tell your son that there are many of us (naa.. MOST) that understand how unfathomably important the work is that they are doing. I personally believe that it is life and death for all of us.

Seems like we hear alot from those who dont like nothing about our military. Thought I would brag on them that steped up to the plate and helped out. Bruce Willis and band put em on a good show too says the son. BUDS a J.D. man like his ol pop and he is dang sure rural living .. support the troops! It might be some of em's first christmas away from home.

My National Guard unit just got back down to Kuwait on Dec 22nd after being in Baghdad since May 12th. We will be doing some outprocessing and heading home sometime soon, so we are very happy to be back in Kuwait.

Some of our soldiers got to see Kid Rock up in Baghdad during the summer. Stone Cold Steve Austin and some female wrestlers performed there as well more recently, some guys got to go see that.

We even had a few at the Thanksgiving dinner that President Bush attended, from what I hear that was a great event for everyone there, actually it made all of us feel nice he would drop in for Thanksgiving dinner, even if we didn't all get to see him.

The shows that are put on are very big highlights and are very much appreciated!
