Darin, that was an excellent idea - just on GP, of course. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif I wish I'd thought of it. Even more than that, I wish it had worked...

Oh the link didn't work? Shoot I guess I should have double checked that. You know for GP. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Next time I will make sure before posting. Sorry about that!

Or maybe some folks just see what they want to see. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Looks like a field of $100 bills to me. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

Harv - You mean, as in the "field of $100 bills" it takes to buy a piece of equipment these days? Or a different batch of bills?

Hmmmm... Lots of ways to see things, eh?

Some see the Chalkley Cup as half full. Others see it as half empty.

The reality is it's just one friggin' BIG cup!!! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Harv - It's the cup for all personalities - whether it's half full or half empty, it's still way more than average! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Mark,
I called today to find that the Earthforce is a rental unit and is not for sale. Sorry about that.
I did inquire and it rents for $145 a day, I could easily find some work to do with it at my place. If I don't get a tractor with loader in the spring I may have to rent it for a day to get some jobs done.
Take care,

Matt

Matt - Thanks for checking! EarthForce says a large percentage of its units are rentals - I'm not sure exactly what that means. My take on it is that, because they're not well known yet, "consumer confidence" in the product is shaky enough that it's a tough sell, but an easy rent. If they can convince a dealer that it's a good product for a good price, or that they'll take it back if it doesn't meet their expectations, the dealer will take it for a rental unit, but getting the end user to plunk down cash for something they've never heard of before isn't an easy task. At least that's my theory... Whatever the case now, I'm predicting big things in the future for the EarthForce machines.

Mark, if a rental yard finds the Earthforce tractors to not only be a valuable tractor, but also to be light on the repairs, it will be a winner. I wish I had a rental yard here that had one, I would have tried it for sure. Can't wait to hear about yours, Rat...

I wish that was true around here!! Could use some additional FEL putting up a rock wall(pic attached). Hopefully the bucket is VERY thick steel/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif. My bucket is starting to take a round profile when viewed from the front.
regards
Mutt
