Attached are a couple of pictures of my new machine.
Well, sort of. Heres the story.
I went to the dealers today to sign loan papers, go over some questions on maintenance and break in and inspect the new tractor. While the salesman was finishing up some paperwork, I went out to look over my new baby. Pic attached.
I looked it all over, adjusted the seat etc. check out the rear remotes, drooled over the quick tach HD bucket. I happened to glance at the hazard lights, And then this big light bulb flashed on. This is the wrong tractor !!!! This is NOT the tractor I had made my deal on !!!!
I walked inside and told my salesman. Thats the wrong tractor !!!! What do you mean ?????? he said.
I said the tractor I test drove, the tractor we sat and discussed price on, the tractor we struck a deal on was a 2003 with the new rear lights. the tractor outside has the old light assemblys on it.
The head Service / prep man behind the counter new nothing of the 2003 having new hazard / tail light assembly, so we walked outside and I showed him the differance in the old and the new styles. And he said Gee, I didn't know they had changed them, we just automaticly prep the oldest / new tractor of that model that we have.
I said, I Don't Think So Tim !!!!! I drove a 2003 model, I speced out a 2003 model, I paid 2003 prices. I want a 2003 model !!!!!!!!!
So there may be a 1 day delay in delivery which I can live with and it wasn't a malicious error, so no real harm done. They just need to swap everything over to a 2003 model. ie. tires, canopy, grill guard, quick tach system and add the rear remote. So in reality the actual tractor I will be taking delivery of won't look a whole lot differant from the pictures posted except for the hazard / tail lights.
Sure glad I inspected it before they delivered it

This picture does not give true justice. When they said that the 72" HD quick tach bucket was Heavy Duty they weren't shi** in !!! This thing looks like it comes of Case Wheel Loader. I can't wait to dig into a pile of gravel with this thing.

This picture shows the 2 buckets in a little better comparison, Sorta. The gray bucket is the standard ( I believe HD ) 72" bucket. The black on is of course the quick tach 72" HD bucket

Mark,

Fisrt, that's fine looking machine.

Second, deliveries usually scare me, you never know what is going to show up at your door. I ended up with a 68" bucket instead of the 60" I thought I was getting. I assumed the dealer got it right, since I didn't realize it for about 3 months after delivery when my tractor didn't fit thru my shed door. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Too late now.

Is there a story about fitting the loader into the shed??

BigDave,
Thanks for the compliment. I rather like the looks of her to.
I have to go back to the dealer tommarow to sign the proper loan papers, because all the numbers will now change ie. serial #, etc. etc. they need to redo the paperwork, and I wasn't about to sign Anything until I do a final inspection and give approval. So you can bet the tommarow I am going to look it over Real Good.
I don't believe for an instant that they are trying to pull anything, but as you have learned, sometimes inter-office communications just isn't there.
It's kinda like test driving and buying a 2003 pickup and then when you go to drive it home thay have given you a 2002 leftover. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
