Gooseneck trailer advice

I had a 30' tandem Dually trailer and it was 6,800# with nothing on it.

I wouldn't touch a trailer that size without a diesel 1 ton.

Well after further inspection of the trailer, it was originally a 30 foot deck with a 5 foot dovetail added later. I think we'll be able to take 5 foot off the end and weld the dovetail back on, take a lil bit of weight and length off. I hated to sell the last gooseneck, but a situation came that I couldn't pass on. I go to the deer lease with the tractor 2-3 times a year, and like to take the ranger too, I also own 40 acres about 40 minutes from the house and like to take both sometimes too. My longest distance is 1 1/2 hour one way, so no long distance runs. I also prefer to pull goosenecks, and it limits the number of people who can ask to borrow it lol. I'm pretty hot on this deal, because its a REAL good deal that doesn't come around often. Weather permitting, I'm gonna go get it this weekend and pull it around unloaded and see how it does. Thanks for all the replies!

That's cheap money! Might be a little heavy but I'd go for it for your use.
