Congrats on the upgrade. I believe you will like some of the new features as well as the "more grunt" capability.

Liking everything so far.
And you though you would be talking me over to the "other" orange:laughing:
Just couldnt find any used kioti's around here. Couldnt find much of anything used in this size. Brownies is the kioti dealer down in nelsonville. Said its pretty rare he gets used ones in, and when he does, they never last. But did have a DK55 he was looking to move for a pretty good price. But still too much $$$ since it was new.
Wasn't your L3400 a gear model? I am dying to know how you like the HSTI hope you got the cruise control, if not I suggest you install it as I know you do a lot of mowing. I bet you like the telescoping lower links and stabilizers too.
Yes the 3400 was a gear.
Yes the MX has cruise. Still taking some getting used to the HST. Im still a little jerky taking off and slowing down.
Too soon to know how well I like the telescoping links and stabilizers. Havent put anything on yet. Gotta get some cat I-Cat II bushings. Most of my stuff has cat I pins, and prefer to leave it that way, Easier to slide a bushing on when I hook up vs swapping pins back and forth if something is needed on the 3400. But I do think I will like the stabilizers. The turnbuckles werent bad, but these are nice. Most of my old equip, and homemade stuff I made all the same width. So never really had to mess with the turnbuckles too much. And even hooking up wasnt bad because I had quick hitch hooks on the lowers (similar to pats)
All of my implements are not standardized for a true Quick Hitch.
Neither are mine. Which is why I made the QH lowers. Made it really nice hooking up the heavy stuff. Which was only my blade, bushhog 306, and the 6' root ripper I made.
Only other stuff I hooked up was easy. Trailer movers, subsoiler/potato plow, and a light duty 5' bushhog that had a chain/swinging a-frame. That stuff was easy to hitch old-school style. But there is no man-handling a 700# blade and a 1100# bushhog with fixed a-frame
Getting ready to head down to the shop. Probably hook up the bushhog first off so I'll see how I like the setup. Need some weight back there as the tires arent loaded.
Then gonna swap the rears around to the widest setting for stability. Still debating on weather I want to put bolt-on teeth on there like my L3400, or just buy a tooth bucket since I have SSQA now?? Never really noticed the teeth helping much when digging, but were very handy looping a strap/chain around and lifting things
