Got a "Piranha" toothbar from BXpanded

I have the tooth bar, under armor, and forks from BXpanded on my BX2660 and all are getting the job done on removing the nasty exotic Plum Nettles from our ranch.

Can anyone comment on the life of the edges, looks like something that might need sharpening/grinding down the road?

I have had mine for a month doing gravel and tearing down a rock wall.
Still looks brand new and needed about 1 minute of filing to remove a small Ding. About 1/32 .

Ok folks... Just checked out the BXpanded website and I don't see it. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place. Sounds like there is a lot of interest so maybe the dude that posts from BXpanded can follow up for us. I am interested... If the price is right!

I have the forks, but not the tooth bar. They do not have to be used together. You'll notice on the two ends of the toothbar the smaller tooth is left off - so you can leave the tooth bar on and put your forks on at these locations. Without the tooth bar you can slide and use the forks anywhere along the bucket.

Harry mentioned in another thread that he will customize the tooth bar if you like. That is, you can leave any or all of the smaller teeth out to retain more flexibility on where the forks can locate along the bucket without removing the tooth bar.

I don't know what the forks are rated for but I can tell you my experience. I've used them for loading logs onto a trailer. As I kept working and adding more logs on the forks with each lift, I reached the point where I could overload the amount my BX24 loader would lift and the forks were still fine, never even bowed or anything that I could tell. I'd have to remove a log so the loader could lift the load. Those forks are pretty tough.

OK, for those not familiar with our product line, let me try to explain what we've done...
We currently make our Quick-On Forks for the BX Series tractors ONLY. Lots of people already have these forks and use them for hauling brush and such as well as for pallets. When we designed the Piranha, it occurred to us that many would not only use the tooth bar for digging, but also for clearing brush and saplings. (As has already been mentioned, It is remarkably effective for that.) We decided that it would be very convenient to be able to just pop on the forks and cart off the debris. So in our effort to produce as versatile attachment as possible, we designed the BX version of the Piranha to accomodate our Quick-On forks. The BX version is the one shown on our website.

Versions of the Piranha for larger tractors will not have the spacing for the forks. There will be an additional small tooth on each side in that space.

The "Piranha" toothbar is an interesting design, resembling an old crosscut saw blade, that looks like it would be quite effective. I just hope that PayPal isn't the only payment method accepted because some of us don't use PayPal and never will. It's simply too risky.
