changed my mind. the pic is of a new mower and doesnt have the change, but you can visualise it form there (they are the same mower off the same model garden tractor)
you can see the little lip coming up anlong the cottom of the dischage place. where it goes up i have bent this down. a little bit of plastic botls on here. it looks kinda like a scoop to lift the grass thats thrown out the side up. deflector on the woer is bungeed out the way (as it is in the pic)
the combination of the blade flights and this scoop bit lifts the grass about 4-5 inches off the groung and spreds the grass around (it chucks it about 1-1.5 feet)

i may brave the artic weather if need be to retrive it from the depths of the garden
