The 420 or 430 loader?
Which bucket?
The 47 or 48 Backhoe?

Don't know if this helps at all... But a dealer in Indianna just sent me a quote ( I'm so far away it's sorta uselss to me) but it's for a 4310....
The tractor is 16,300 the ehydro is 2,400 r4 tires are 200 , a power beyond and Selective mid SCV are 910 and the frieght is 240... and a 4K discount to make it just a hair over 16K
the 430 is 3500 less a 700 discount
and then a 47 BH with a 9" bucket is 6519 and less 1300

total was 24242.... I actually think it's a great price except he's in another country and about 1500 miles away...

I would say so to. Just my sense of humor - picturing this 18" BH on the 4x10 - kinda reminded me of a T-Rex with those wimpy little arms just dangling there. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I went to Deere.com and spec'd out a 4410 with the equipment you mentioned. I built it with R4 tires, hydro trans, (I'm a shuttle man myself), the 430 FEL, 48 Hoe, and the 72 MMM. I spec'd it the most expensive way possible.

Machine Price Qty

4410 Tractor $22,099.00
72 In. Mid-Mount Side Discharge Mower (For 4210, 4310 and 4410 Tractors) $3,069.00
430 Loader (For 990, 4300-4400 and 4310-4410 Tractors) $3,529.00
48 Backhoe (For 4300-4400, 4310-4410, 5105 and 5205 Tractors) $7,342.00

That totals up to $36,039 without tax, title, dealer prep, undercoating, and Scotchguard.

It makes your price look really good. I was thinking your price was high. Did your price include taxes? As your dealer about incentives. Sometimes there are rebates. Buy 2 pieces of equipment get $400 off was going on when I bought mine. One thing I got was a rental incentive. My tractor was new with less than 1 hour on the meter but because it was listed as one of their rental units they knocked a few hundred off the price. Like I said, I spec'd it out with the most expensive FEL and Hoe, high dollar tires and HST. Your mileage may vary.

So now I am totally confused. I am thinking I am getting absolutely screwed until I see what it costs to build on deere.com.

I have three guys with the 4310 I want, I will just haggle them off against each other.

My price is with 7% tax and delivered.

And yes, it is the 8' backhoe, believe it is the 48

This forum has really helped me come to some conclusions.

I am either going 4310 or 4410. Have quotes on both now. 4410 at $31k (out the door) with 430fel, 48bh, 72"mmm. That is the machine I want/need. I am just now battling with spending $31k for this toy.

Thanks for the thots on this.

Can't speak for the backhoe, but the dealer here wants $20,290 for a 4410 4x4, hydro, with 430 FEL. Add $2490 if you want the 72" mmm.

I went back to Deere's website and spec'd out another tractor, my tractor. A 4310 with R4s, Power-reverser transmission and 430 FEL. I paid $16,900 tax and all for my tractor in November of 2003. The Deere website lists it with those options as $21,968. I think the MSRP is just to make you feel good about the price the dealer is giving you. I went ahead and added the 48 backhoe and 72" MMM along with Mid PTO and rear SCV just like I did for ebeb's 4410 quote I did and the price went to a whopping $33,019. I figured the percentage of the MSRP that I paid for my tractor, about 77%. At that ratio, theoritically, you should be able to get the 4410 the way you want it for $27,750.03 plus tax. That is theoritically of course. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
