Got my new B3030 - Came with a BH76 Backhoe

Hi caj4isu,

Was just curious as to your reasoning for getting the alternator upgrade and what does the kit include? I am thinking of extra lights for winter snow removal and might be leaning in this direction as well. Not sure if it is an option on the B3200 yet but will be asking about it this week when I visit the dealer. Thanks for your thoughts on this!

Nice tractor. I prefer green though. I do like the B3030 with FEL and cab. What a nice machine. Have fun and good luck.

As for the seats, the only way you can go on the B3030 is the dual seat setup, and the only option on the B3200 is the single swivel seat. I've used both setups, and actually prefer the dual seat setup - it's much quicker and easier if you go back and forth a lot, which I tend to do. I was always griping about the extra time to turn the seat on the true TLBs I've operated.

I have my seats adjusted so that I can have both down at the same time (I think the tractor seat is 1 notch forward from all the way back). But I rarely keep both down together because those black seats heat up something fierce in the sun.

OK, I mis-spoke. I used to have the tractor seat 1 notch forward from all the way back, but to have both seats down at the same time, the tractor seat has to be up a few notches from the back.

Not a problem for me, as I'm barely 5'-9", but for you, it may put the tractor seat too far forward.
