Didn't get underneath it yet today. Spent my time readjusting hydraulic fitting angles and re-routing lines for chute because everything was rubbing and catching.
Then rerouted a bunch of electrical wiring and put protective loom over much of it.

Well don't be jealous, LOL
It was bought more out of necessity. Needed to make it easier for the wife to do driveway for the times she ends up having to do it. The Boss vee blade I had on it worked great, but seems like we are always getting feet of heavy wet snow at a time now, and plowing kind of takes some experience. At least this you just drive forward and done.
But even for me, now that I'm getting older, my neck issues were starting to hurt looking backwards with tractor all the time. And I didn't want to take loader off because I use it daily.
Now just hope this thing performs as good as in all the you tube videos I watched.
You made the right choice. Blowing snow is the way to go, it seems to get rid of the snow, where pushing it leaves ridges of snow that are rock hard after a week and the roadway ends up becoming narrower and narrower. I will note wet snow can be pretty hard to blow as well.
I have been thinking about making a blower for mine Kubota rtv but I think I would build it with it's own engine so there is no driveline involved.

I'm surprised the RTV has enough power to run that. Let us know how it works.

Yep. But the owner treats me real good, so I bite my tongue often. Or more like I don't blow up, I just talk to him and he does something for me.
But like EVERY dealer in my area right up to class 8 trucks, it does get tiring when you spend that kind of money then have to come home and fix it yourself.

One thing I do though is take before and after pics. That way they can't say your are just a complainer. You show them pics and say "SEE"

Well, kids took garbage down so when they got back up to house I couldn't resist, even though I wasn't done checking everything over. I jammed it in to a snowbank that I had blown with tractor and pushed on with loader and immediately blew the shear pin on the fan, LOL
But funny thing is, I replaced and went back into same bank, full blower width and 20 inch height and never broke another. Maybe the pin wasn't tight? But it blows full blower no problem.
I find in low gear the blower doesn't bog down, but it will lose some drive power when your blowing a 20 inch deep frozen bank.

Sounds like fun!

So only issue I see now, is the PTO light on the dash does not illuminate. I don't even know how to trace that, there is now so many electrical boxes and relays in this thing now. But I'm not hauling back to dealer in the salt for that. It can wait for summer.

And the one thing I don't like about these RTV's is none of your dash controls, gear selector, or the blower controls are illuminated. So until you memorize where everything is you gotta leave the interior light on.

I might see what style bulb is in there and do like some of my class 8 trucks had.....put a blue or purple bulb in it so you have light that doesn't glare on the windows.
