</font><font color="blue" class="small">( Jon,

Congratulations on your green purchase. You said you had plans for a back hoe and other goodies later. Did you order your tractor with Power Beyond (for the BH) and the 3rd SCV? I think it is cheaper to have these added now rather than later.

Jeff )</font>
i just bought a 3520 300cx, lx5 and a 5' bb. i was told these options cost the same to add after the fact as they did on a new machine. so i didnt get them since i dont need them now. 2 different salesmen at 2 locations told me the same thing.

i think you will really enjoy this tractor. it was my first tractor as well and it seems very powerful. just be CAREFUL, they will turn over if you forget about the laws of physics. enjoy.

The parts cost the same amount but you'll likely get a better deal on labor when you purchase the tractor...

Jeff: No, I didn't order any extra valving for a future hoe. I'm hoping if it comes to a hoe, that the dealer will do me right. He's been wooing me for nearly a year and I finally pulled the trigger on the 3520. I think it will be a great machine but I DO understand the laws of physics. I rarely overlook the "safety" part of this forum...there's a lot of good info to be had there. Having had muscle cars during the 60's, I consider myself fortunate to have lived through that era in itself....so I shall take utmost precautions when I'm on the tractor.

I have FEL work that needs to be done as well as work that would be nice to tackle with a hoe. I just need to see how much I can do with the FEL before I decide to splurge on a hoe.

I think one of my first priorities will be to mix up some concrete for the ballast box and fill it up....then I'll probably order an I-Match to make connecting it and any other implements easier on me.

I really want to get a flail mower as I've got a lot of ground that needs mowing and it needs to look nice. That was one area that made me lean towards the 3520 as opposed to the 3120. I figure no sense shooting yourself in the foot and not be able to run a flail with the 3120.

So, there ya have it....my thoughts & plans for the day....subject to change of course depending on the forum feedback.

Thanks for all the warm greetings.
