THAT is a remarkable picture.

Well trained dogs to pose for a pic like that:thumbsup: I've got to ask, did someone have a steak off to the side they were looking at? LOL

actually i am not sure why they were both looking off that way. the photographer was in front of the sleigh, and there was no one else there. she took about 12 pics, and this one just stood out.

We had 9-10 " of new snow over 4" previous snowfall, and the temps stayed at 28F today after being single digits for a few days. So i finally got tired of moving snow and decided to take one of the horses thru the woods in the back of the property. It was WAY fun, but the trees covered me and the sleigh in snow. Here are a few pics the wife took for fun. Hope you enjoy. By the way... this is a Norwegian Fjord horse and a circa early 1900's sleigh. The sleigh is scheduled for some TLC after this winter.

Great Photos! Before joining the navy i owned a pair of Percheron Mares and loved driving them, albeit slower than a tractor, there is a certain satisfaction performing a task with a team. Since is left home my dad has started raising Halflinger horses, they look simalar in size and build to your Norwegian Fjord. Attached is a photo of my dad with one of his Halflingers pulling his newly refurbished 1900's buckboard.
