Looking good,,, Jeep fanatic here.

I need a small wheel loader similar to what you have.

How much do you figure it will lift? I need something in the 4500lb range.

Fab looks good, I still don't understand 4 link but I am getting ready to start on my 68 CJ5 buggy. Kinda got bored with my 97, it alwaysw works,,,, Where is the fun in that??

Thats a cool ol 79 ford. You running the np435?

As far as what the loader will lift, I dont know. Its picked up everything I've ever latched onto it. I'd guess the backhoe was around 4000 lbs??? and other than getting light in the back it picked it up no problem, still had spring in the boom. Once the snow melts a little its going to a friends place to roll a duece and a half to pull the axles then were going to attempt to lift the remains onto a trailer for scrap. That ones gonna be heavy.

Yup, I'm running a 351w, NP 435, and a twin-stick NP 205. Works pretty good for an old farm truck. :D

Just pulled the township plow truck out of the ditch with the loader. He was stuck right at the end of my driveway. We only got maybe 10 inches from this storm so far but I still had well over 2 feet that didnt melt from the last couple. The wind this time has been the real bugger though. My driveway wasnt real bad, maybe 3 feet in the drifts but I plow my neighbor out and he had some good 5 footers. He's an ol farmer and he cant get out to plow so I keep him open. I was starting to think he might have to wait for spring, that was alot of stinkin snow but the ol clunker handled it. I need some tire chains for next year.

Right now its a large 2 story addition on the house with indoor pool. At the same time I'm doing a garage addition/pool equipent room and outdoor kitchen with large fireplace, all native stone. Doing everything without a contractor from ground up, plans, excavated it with the case, pool install, gathering the stone, everything. Going to build an elevator too and a large boiler to heat everything. I couldnt have this stuff without doing it myself and I'm trying to make the hard work pay off. I get burned out at times though and get to thinking life would be so much easier if i got into gardening. The ambrosia grows real sweet around here.

When you say boiler are you referring to a outdoor wood burner? If so I have built 4 or 5 and am tinkering with making them more efficient. Wanna kick around some ideas? CJ
