Here in Sumner, the John Deere dealer had a "John Deere Days" event over easter. They had lawnmower races and such on the vacant farm lot next door. Later in the summer they have another event with a demo area and tractor pulls. The demo area was set up with backhoes digging holes and loaders moving piles. No real deadly stuff like brushhogs though since the event was pretty busy.

The Kubota dealer in Puyallup has a backyard that they let people use to try out a tractor. More to drive and try the FEL though.

When I was younger, my parents used to take me to the Lynden WA fair (we lived in Vancouver BC at the time) in August. There were a TON of tractors and dealers there. I remember climbing on equipment and chatting with dealers. Also, on a partly related topic, there was the Lynden plowing contest in the spring too - but all horse drawn!

That was about 25 years ago, so I guess it is time to take my kids up that way and see if it is still going on!
