The dealer called me earlier this week. My NEW tire and NEW rim were in. I went to the dealer on Thursday and swapped out the tire and rim assembly. They told me Kubota was aware of the problem and just needed the old tire and rim. Could not have been easier.

Me being a tire dealer am absolutely baffled by this whole leaking tire
situation I've noticed brought up in many posts.I can't fathom letting
an issue like this be the cause of an unhappy customer, especially after
I sold them such a high dollar investment.Usually for no more cost than
a hat or two it can be cured with a tube easily.:confused2:

I guess maybe I'm to practical but I sure wouldn't waste the time arguing
or ticking off a customer over such a minor issue, and wouldn't want to be
talked bad about cause that's the most expensive advertising there is.
Actually,if I were the tractor dealer and I'd seen it once or twice I'd be
installing tubes automatically just to avoid having a disatisfied customer.

Some times logic and common sense are very elusive. Some people are born with it and some never find it. I agree, it's a problem and has been for at least 5 years which should have been fixed by now. Possibly there is a numbers cruncher that has determined the cost to fix it is more than the cost to occasionally replace the one out of a hundred customers that ask for a fix or replacement.
I, as I'm sure most buyers think that maybe we caused it to go flat some way and are hesitant to ask for a repair or replacement. We think when they break the tire down and find a big thorn or nail in it, how stupid would we feel then asking for warranty repair. This group of owners has now come out of the shadows and admitting we've found an issue with our beloved Orange tractor.:) I'm having to ponder the "if I was a dealer I would automatically tube all tires idea". They probably only get one out of 50 customers or less that complain about a problem and if their customer does then fix it and throw in a hat and apologize while implying the customer probably did it but going to fix it anyway with a smile.:) A problem has then been turned in to an opportunity to have a more grateful customer.:) I also believe the full cost of tubing all of the tires would be at the dealers expense.

I personally would not accept tubing a faulty tire as a satisfactory "fix". I want what I paid for and that includes four tubeless tires that hold air. If a customer chooses to put tubes in foe whatever reason, fine it just should not "have" to be done to disguise a defective product.

OK, guys. TWICE in this thread was mentioned about the dealer "throwing in a hat" on a repair. Don't get me started again. My dealer has never thrown me a hat, shirt, ink pen-NUTHIN! That being said, and while I agitated, I will make the call about my flat tires and see where I get. You guys have a spendid day!

I had the same problem on my BX2660. My dealer told me the root cause of the issue was too much paint on the rim where the tire seals to it. "Excessive paint". They took the tires/rims, removed the tires from the rims, and sanded off the excess paint, put the tires back on, (no tubes), and I have not had a problem since.
