Governor Repairs for 650G

The governor shaft on mhy 650g sheared next to the flange. Is there any new shafts out there and for what price? If no new shafts where can I buy a good used shaft and for what money. Has anyone else had a shaft shear into two parts?

Mhauk is still looking for a new or good used shaft for the Govenor on a 650G Satoh. Does anyone know of a machine shop that is equiped with CNC equipment that could kick out one hundred of these shafts at an affordable price? If so send me an email at: mhauk@ccsdana.net

Mhauk as of September 14, 2006 is still looking for a source of a good used or new shaft for the governor on his 650G Satoh. Has anyone had a governor shaft shear itself? Does anyone know why it happen? None of the parts supply house have any new ones. Would be great opportunity for machine shop with CNC equipment to make us Satoh owners a spare shaft. Did you talk to Bill? He has been a great help to us Satoh owners. There is a Satoh and Mitsubishi forum here below. Other vendors can be found there and are good too.
