B2601
I am getting ready to go pick up my new B2601 here in about an hour. I do have the KTAC insurance. But I want to feel warm and fuzzy inside and feel having a GPS tracker on it would do the trick. Didn't know if anyone else as done this as my search results turned up nothing. Any help or comments are greatly appreciated.

I have one my tractor it's called SPOT TRACE. The company has a web site at www.findmespot.com. It created a lot of fun when my cousin borrowed my tractor (which he has my permission) and I called him and asked him how it was performing. Not only does it alert me when the tractor is out of the shop it also sends me its coordinates.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have that hardwired? Is so do you worry about it draining the battery? If not what are your charging procedures?

I have not gotten that sophisticated yet as to hard wire the unit at the time I got mine the only hard wire option was not waterproof but from their web site I see where that has changed. I just change the batteries every couple of months it works fine. But from the small current draw I don't see where it could pose a problem with battery draw.

The service I got was the basic around $100 per month. I have it set to sent me an alert every 30 minutes.

I purchased it for good old fashioned fun and it has my cousin still does not know how I know every time the tractor moves out of the shop. I hid it well.

If the batteries run a couple months in between charges, then it should never draw the battery. Thanks for the info. I didn't get much seat time in when I got her home. But this is a huge upgrade from my 1988 Kioti LB2204. I will post pictures as soon as I figure it out.

Nice machine I remember well the day I brought my L3800 home. Enjoy it.
Allow me to correct my earlier post the service cost me 100 per YEAR not a month as I wrote.
I like fun as much as the next person but even I would not pay 100 per month for this much fun. LOL

You'll have to take that up with the dealer. LOL. It has .6 miles (should have said hours) on it.

LOL.
Mine had 1.6 hours on it when I parked it last night after my post-delivery play time.

Nice. You like it so far? I only got to play with mine for about 20 min. My biggest complaint is the lack of lighting. But I'm going to fix that.

I enjoyed working with it. It is my first tractor so the size is great. I played with some dirt to feel out the loader and then did some brush cutting. Got it with Landpride RC1548 cutter which worked very nicely. I wasn't on it past dusk so haven't seen the lights in action yet. Figured at some point I'd want to add LED work lights.

The headlights on my L3200 are almost useless. They bounce off the back of the loader & bucket causing massive glare.

I clamped a square pipe on top of my ROPS using some PVC pipe pucks to keep it off the ROPS bar. Drilled that to mount the lights & added 2 LED lamps forward & 2 more pointing back. Ran the wire up to the dash, drilled a hole in the dash & put the switch there. Some people might just drill the ROPS, but I'm cautious & it wasn't much extra work. Not sure if the mounting bolts would have fit through anyway.

Love the ROPS LEDs, each one is brighter than the headlights & the high mount gives great coverage with minimal glare. I expect the 4 pull less watts than the 2 headlights as well.

Think they were $100 or so off Amazon. Tuff LED or something (description indicated there were a lot of fakes copying their add, including that warning), so I got them from the real Amazon seller that matched the name.

I have some ideas and ordered some lights from Amazon and a 12" led light bar from onlineledstore.com. There are nice places on the back where you can mount an optional Kubota work light that I am going to use for the rear facing leds. And I'm going to drill and mount the 12" light bar to the top bar on my grill guard. Hate to drill into a nice new piece of equipment. But I need to be able to see. I will pull the bulbs out of the factory head lamps and wire the bar to the factory light switch. The leds should pull less juice than the bubles. I order a square push button switch that I am hoping will fit in one of the blanks in the dash. That will run the rear work lights. And of course I ordered orange split loom to cover the wires.

If they are on the brush guard don't you think you'll still have glare on the loader bucket? I was thinking of putting them on the ROPS using some square U bolts so the ROPS isn't altered.

Let me know how it works out. Pics too please. Likely I wont need to bother for quite some time since the tractor is at our other property that we don't live at so I don't know that I'll do any evening work. I'm busy spending money on implements right now. Trying to decide between Piranha and Ratchet Rake right now.

Have you used the loader much yet? I can't get it to float. It is supposedly a detent beyond forward/down. I tried and just lift the front end up.
