Grading scraper for Ford 1920

Hi,. I am looking to purchase a grading scraper and try to decide which size would be most beneficial. Looking at Land Pride GS1260 and GS1272. The 60 is roughly 2200 and the 72 is roughly 2500, so only $300 difference. Would be used to level out a little bit of dirt - about 1 1/2 acre and repair the dg that is by the road in front of the fence line in front of the house - roughly 15 ft. Recently did a new well for the property, so there is a little bit of dirt that needs to be floated out. I have 2 tractors 8N with ag tires and Ford 1920 4 wd with turf tires. Primarily the 1920 would be the one doing the work.

You want one wider than your tires when angled. Weight is your friend with blades so get tbe heaviest one your tractor can handle.

I think we are talking about a land plane grading scraper here. These units are drug straight behind the tractor and not angled.

Anyhow - get a unit that is wider than the rear tires and it will do fine.

My driveway get exceptionally hard in the summer. So my LPGS has scarifiers. They break the "crust" that forms and allow the blades to redistribute it. The scarifiers are used when I need to repair potholes, riffles, washboard and the like.

Need to have added weight for some really tough areas. Put a 55 gallon drum on the LPGS. Add as much water to the drum as needed.

Thanks. Yes, grading scraper or land plane is exactly what I am after. I do have a 60" box scraper and 72" angle scraper. I did go with the 72" Land Pride, just waiting for delivery.
