If that has the k66 hydro, you should be fine.

It will be fine as far as the transmission - you will run out of traction long before damaging the K66, IMO.

For towing a yard cart, sweeper, vacuum, or sulky, you should be golden. I was surprised how easily it pulled the harrow.

My 1999 John Deere built Scotts 2554 with K66 is still going strong. Testament to the Tufftorq K66 durability. Deck belts, mower blades, drive belts and pulleys, M1 15-50 oil changes. That's all. Some air for the tires....hehehehe and spindle grease.
