2005 L 3130 FST
I have noticed a lot of post by one particular user that continually blasts the L 3130 as underpowered, and another qoute is along the lines that kubota should have not even bothered making it. I personally dont have a ton of experience with it, as I just got it on the 20th of January, BUT i was doing some REALLY heavy FEL work moving several HUGE boulders and had zero hiccups with it. I for one take some offense on the slams on the unit as I cant or wont afford something bigger when I dont need it. It has done every thing i have asked of it so far, and I am positive that it will continue to do so. Maybe the weight to horsepower ratio is low compared to the 5030 but if you dont have one, and are basing your opinion off of stats you read, then keep your opinions to yourself! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

We've been having major frustrating problems during the first 900 hours of operation of our L-3130 with LA723. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

It is overpowered and totally reliable.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Timmmmah:

To me, the purpose of this forum is to serve as a medium in which people can express opinions and exchange ideas.

I reserve the right to do just that, and I stand behind every word that I have ever said about the 3130, and the spirit in which the words were said.

I believe that the exchange of ideas and opinions in this forum is best done in a spirit of non-confrontation, non-judgement, and mutual respect. I further believe that a careful examination of all of my posts would show that I have done a pretty good job of doing just that.

In keeping with that spirit of mutual respect, I ask you to respect my right to state my opinions, as I respect your right to state yours.

John

hey i dont have nothing against you per se, but it seems thats all you ever post is how much you hate the 3130, and I notice that people that actually own them and use them on a regular basis seem to have no issues with them what so ever...? go figure?

You werent around for Ramon49 were you? Do a search, he had many people upset. It didnt bother me too much until he accused all 3130 owners of lieing and misleading people about how happy they were with their tractors, like we all got together for a big conspiracy. I dont really understand the facination with tractor HP. The truth is we all try to add the most weight we can to a tractor because more weight ussually means more work. Some people say the 3130 weighs too much for its HP. These are the same people that go out and add fluid, wheel weights, weight box, suitcase weights and implements to there tractor to get more work out of it. Think of it this way, a 3130 is the same thing as a 3030 with all kinds of weights added to it with a drivetrain AND hydraulics AND framework designed to support that weight plus some.

no i missed that one, and nothing comes up on a search either... I gotta say tho initially I almost passed on the 3130 because of CT Tree guys comments and glad i didnt, and now that i own one i found it sort of offensive...

Our L-3130 has 32HP and works hard 24-7 like the proverbial mule, however my RM1 kart also has 32HP and it can't do any work at all except literally HAUL . /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I got one myself and love it. I have found no underpower problems at all. Alot of people bash it on this forum I found, But I'm glad I got mine. Glad to see you like yours as much as I like mine /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. CT treeguy has made many comments about the L3130 which have aready been addressed. I expressed my oppinions on that. I wish he would keep his bad comments to himself as we all don't have enough cash to shell out for a L5030. Have Fun. I know I am and look how much money we saved /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

I have had my L3130 with LA513 for a little over a year (240 hours) and have nothing but great things to say about it. It is the perfect size for most all of my uses. I'd buy the same tractor tomorrow.
