Has anyone with the grand L's installed aftermarket rear remotes in place of the factory ones? What and where is the easiast place to tap in. The factory has prebent tubes and brackets that tie into the trans, nice and neat. I would like to save money and install aftermarket stuff, but alway seems like you end up with hoses and brackets every where! Does somewone make a kit that taps into trans similar to factory kit?

Its pretty pothectic I had to convert my snowblower that came with hydraulic chute rotation to hand crank! $130.00 was cheaper than $1000. or so that Kubota wants for their's. I just could not do it this year.

My honest opinion is to get the factory setup. Yes, they can be pricey compared to putting together a system from aftermarket suppliers, but would be much more sanitary. If a factory kit was not an option for your tractor, i'd say put your own together. Unfortunate you had to switch to a manual rotator for the winter. You could always do what i do...... ask for a gift card/certificate to your local dealer as a Christmas gift ! Makes it easier to afford when you do get around to buying the kit.

Thats sounds like pobably the best from what I'm hearing, I'll just have to do some side work and save up some extra money for my own christmas present.

The installation of the Grand L remotes is not difficult mechanically just access restricted. For the GL 30s the kits for the first remotes were something over $600 total for the two, the second and third kits totaled about $400 each. I am guessing that the GL40s are about the same price range if not the the same kits.
