Grand L ROPS welded-on nuts size?

I'm trying to utilize the two welded-on nuts on the front of the ROPS' hinges & can't figure out what size & thread they are.

I've tried a 3/8" regular threaded U.S. bolt, a 3/8" fine threaded U.S. bolt, & a 10mm metric bolt ... and none fit. They all thread in about one full turn & stop. Oiled 'em realy good too, just to make sure.

Does anybody know?

I can't tell you what size they are but I would expect metric. Metric threads come in more than one size. The best place I have found to get different pitch metric bolts is auto part stores. Hardware stores usually only have one pitch per diameter. If I'm not mistaken the M10 comes in m10 x 1.0, M10 x 1.25, and M10 x 1.5 . I've found that the M10 x 1.25 is used on quite a few Asian autos so that would be my first guess.

Yesterday I bought 10mm bolts in all 3 thread sizes (1.0, 1.25 & 1.5).

With luck today I'll have my 4240 and I'm thinking that I'll be adding a set of lights to the ROPS for snow blowing at night. Sooner or later I would of had to figure it out so you saved me from doing the leg work.

Also ... the hole depth is exactly 3/4" ... i.e. from the front face of the welded-on nut to where a 10mm bolt bottoms out.
