Kubota L5030 GST
Recent questions on other post have made me curious about my own TPH. I have a L5030 GST and have noticed since new that the hitch raises in steps of approximately one inch increments /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif. Other posts here have addressed non-Grand L tractors and I have not read any comments specifically related to the Grand L's. Can someone confirm for me whether or not the Grand L's are factory equipped with an infinitely adjustable hitch? My factory warranty is up early next year and I want to get this taken care of. Thanks.

There is nothing wrong with your 3pt, it is working as it is suppose to.

My L3130 3ph is smooth as silk. I have never had a problem with it raising in increments. You might want to call your dealer and ask about it.

Believe me, I'm quick to point out something that isn't right on my own tractor, but the 3 pt hitch is awesome on my L5030HSTC. The external lift cylinders move it up to be able to handle Cat. II implements and it is far stronger than most any other 3 pt. hitch in the same hp rating. Mine is very smooth and extremely strong.

JKub My 3130 started doing as you state at about 10 hrs . The dealer changed the contol valve ,and it's been great ever since . John

Thanks for the your input folks. Initially I thought that the hitch was just a little tight and needed some wear in time but it actually seems to be getting worse. I will continue to use it as is until winter. My dealer is swamped this time of year and I really don't want to be without my tractor while the weather is good.

Dargo; I totally agree with you about the strenth and flexability of the TPH on the 5030 /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. It was a major factor in my purchasing this unit as I have both cat I and II implements.

It is just an adjustment on the feedback rod and the valve. Mine does it when lowering with a really heavy implement but is smooth going up.
