If not abused, your OEM battery should last 10+ years.

You may want to worry about other issues.

Since you quoted a 5 year old post... If the OP still has the original it is now 10 years old.

I am the OP, and yes, the OEM battery made it thru this winter and is still going strong

Now I did have to replace the battery in my 2013 Kub GR2120 back in November 2018, it was a Sunday, had to compromise with a battery from Meijer.
