graphite paint

I tried slip-plate, a graphite paint on my dirt scoop and 6' blade. Here is a picture after it dried (2 coats, brushed on).
Digging about 10 loads, some of it did scratch off. The paint does make the dirt roll off easier, but I was hoping it would be a little more durable.

I got a gallon this spring with a big dent in the can at TSC for $11.00. So I used it on my mower deck, seems to help with the grass sticking problems that I was having. But like you say I too wish it was a bit more durable. But with a gal. of the stuff I can recoat it a few times a year.
