Grapple arm for CK20 FEL: any experience???

Has anyone attached an aftermarket grapple to the CK20 loader bucket? There is one designed for the Kubota BX23 that looks like it would be useful on the CK20 for handling brush and other relatively light work.

I checked that website and the grapple arm looks pretty neat. I, too, would like to know if anyone has tried such a thing on a CK20 or LB1914. I couldn't find any grapple attachments on the Kioti website. Do they make one?

I don't have one but I think ATI makes one that would fit on a quick attach. They have the quick attach for the KL120/130's now also.

Unfortunatly Kioti don't supply a remote hydraulic spool,so in order to fit a grapple you would have to get some hydraulic plumbing carried out first,that is unless someone here can tell me another way to get some hydralics to the loader in order to use a grapple or 4 in 1 loader,things like this let Kioti down IMO. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I think you'll find quite a few, if not all, grapples discussed on this site implement an electric diverter valve instead if a dedicated spool. Pineridge has a good writeup about his on his website.

The grapple part is easy, the hydraulics are far more intimidating.

Kioti don't do a diverter valve this is the problem.

Pretty much no manufacturer makes a tractor with the front mounted remote hydraulics for a grapple or similar front mounted attachment. You need to go aftermarket as in wrlong or piece it together yourself. There are several solutions like using the rear remote with extensions, electric solenoid diverter, electronic controlled valve, etc.

I do not consider this a Kioti shortcoming at all.
