That's the very diagram I was modeling my install on: until told not to. I'm no longer sure what to do. That "no tee" advice has me all confused. The guy knew I was talking about the return, and not the high pressure line from the pump.

He told me I would lose power to the 3ph/pto when using the grapple if I did that. Is that so, or not?

That's a good diagram BUT the second Valve does not have power beyond which gives power to the 3 point hitch. If that diagram had a high pressure line coming out of the 2nd valve (like the first valve), With the power beyond hose tying into the block (for the 3ph) it would be perfect... Also, I've added to my response above...

Do you have a diagram showing that setup? I understand what you're saying, but cannot picture it clearly in my (very tired and confused) mind.

sorry, I just don't know how your tractor works... Seems that you should be able to put in Power Beyond and tap off of it... but I don't know how to do the hoses for your tractor...

Yep.....just a question of how, exactly, to hook the return lines up. I posted on the hydraulics forum. Maybe someone will be familiar with this situation.

Can any Yanmar guys tell me why I only have two lines to my loader valve, and how to run the lines for the new grapple valve.....?

It might be some extra stuff to buy but I would check the pressure of the 2nd hose... if it's low pressure return... your 3ph is getting power somewhere else.
