I have been intrigued by the capabilities of a grapple in place of the the FEL. Has anyone tried putting one of these on a 2310?
Like the Millonzi LD 48

I have some big concrete blocks I need to move. It looks like it may be pretty effective.

Hi Danny, I need a grapple for yard work , want a root rake one, Island Tractor's millonzi looks nice . I wanted to make one ,but the wife wants me to buy it , and work on the house. Anbo is my choice.

Hi Dan,
Thanks for the lead. Those are nice looking units as well have you contacted them for pricing yet?
What made you decide on Anbo?

Anbo's cost a LOT more than the Millonzi and are substantially heavier if I am recalling my figures correctly. I don't think there is an Anbo made that weighs only 285lbs like the Millonzi.

Be careful not to buy more grapple than you need as it will be both expensive and will limit your lift capacity. The Millonzi should handle concrete blocks fine and will certainly be able to hold more than your FEL can lift.

Thanks Island
I suspected they were pricier. They do have one model which weighs in about the same. Two others are heavier. - 345 pounds.

Price and weight are my two main factors. I do not need super heavy duty. It seems the heavier the grapple, the less I will be able to pick up.

Exactly. Also, consider that most grapples are actually designed for skidsteers which are likely to use them in more brutal ways than CUT owners would on their own property. A light weight grapple is really all almost any CUT owner needs. Some guys go overboard and get grapples made of T1 steel and grossly oversized for what they need but that is part of the same disease that gets people to buy 40+hp tractors to mow their lawns etc. The aim is to get the right tool for the right job and in the world of grapples only the smaller, lighter ones are really well matched to CUTs.

Hi Danny, Jeff at Anbo sent prices, 38" $2,420, 48" $2,375 with 6" spacing without hoses and mounts.I like the upper tine frame length, and close capability to 3", it's more like a rake to gather stuff. Can you get Millonzi prices,. I also like W.R.Long electric joy stick switch, for the third function.

Wow!
According to a recent post on the attachment forum, you can get three of the Millonzi's!

I sent a note to Millonzi on Sat and am waiting for a return to determine cost for the GC2310.
There is a good thread going on over there where someone is documenting the install. He is using the electric switch.

The price you get from Millonzi sometimes varies according to the salesperson you talk to. Joe Millonzi is in charge of their internet/IT stuff and he seems to give the best prices especially if you identify yourself as being from TBN. Best way to reach him is via his TBN handle which is joe@millonzi

The price quoted for the Anbo is about three times the cost of the Millonzi 48LD. If you need to see what can be done with that grapple just search on some of my posts a few months ago using grapple and millonzi in search terms and look for the photos. No way a GC2310 needs (or could benefit from) a bigger grapple.

I'm not sure what people are paying for their Millonzi grapples but my neighbor has a new one sitting in his equipment yard that he paid $750 plus a 10% finders fee. I've looked it over carefully and it is built well and I would not want a heavier one on a 20 or 25 hp tractor. His will be used for picking up rocks with a skidsteer on the side of a mountain.
